Companion to PLAN-12-MONTH.md (the build schedule) and SCIENCE-AND-FOUNDATIONS.md (the technical synthesis). This document is the section-by-section skeleton of the Vantasner AG pitch: one line of content notes per slide. Every number in the notes is sourced from a repository document, as marked; anything else is qualitative. Pitch voice throughout.

1 Title

  • Slide 1, title: Vantasner AG, the piezo-driven shear-thickening hydride device program: a working metal hydride plus piezoelectric excess-heat device in 12 months.

2 Concept

  • Slide 2, the device in one picture: a dense suspension or sealed bed of metal deuteride particles (PdD, TiD2, ZrD2) mixed with piezoelectric powder (PZT, BaTiO3), sheared so hard that frictional force chains form.
  • Slide 3, the core conversion: force chains press piezoelectric grains against hydride grains; contact stress becomes bound charge; charge becomes fields of order 1e8 to 1e9 volts per meter across nanometer gaps; deuterons cross those gaps at 0.1 to 1 keV (concept brief, estimate).
  • Slide 4, why now: every component exists separately in the published record; the specific hydride plus piezoelectric combination appears untested in the public record (concept brief, searches of 2026-10-21).

3 Opportunity

  • Slide 5, the two 2025-2026 anchors: electrochemical loading raises measured D-D fusion rates in a benchtop accelerator target (Chen et al., Nature 644, 2025, the Thunderbird reactor, prior-art/07), and a yield plateau with enhancement above 1e18 over bare-nucleus rates below about 2 keV, effective screening potential about 3.0 keV on palladium deuteride (Karahadian et al., Nature Communications 17, 8845, 2026, prior-art/07).
  • Slide 6, the open question we are built to answer: the plateau's interpretation divides between a materials property and an ion-track property (prior-art/07); a mechanically excited, beam-off hydride suspension is the clean test of that disagreement, and either outcome is new knowledge Vantasner owns.
  • Slide 7, the demonstrated platform: piezoelectric nanoparticles inside shear-thickening suspensions demonstrably generate charge exactly when frictional contact networks form (Kim, Esser-Kahn, Rowan and Jaeger, PNAS 120, 2023, cited in the concept brief).

4 Foundations

  • Slide 8, the rate lever is measured physics: electron screening in metals is the quantitatively established core of the field, from 25 eV in deuterium gas to the 300 eV class in aluminum, zirconium, palladium and tantalum, up to 800 plus or minus 90 eV in palladium (prior-art/05).
  • Slide 9, the field precedent: a heated lithium tantalate crystal with a nanometer tungsten tip ionizes deuterium gas and drives deuterons to genuine D-D fusion energies, reproduced independently (Naranjo, Gimzewski and Putterman, Nature 434, 2005; Geuther, Danon and Saglime, Physical Review Letters 96, 2006; prior-art/06).
  • Slide 10, what we add: crystal fields work at slow thermal-cycle repetition rates; our 20 kHz mechanical drive replaces that cycle with a pulse train, raising the effective repetition rate by many orders of magnitude (estimate, prior-art/06).

5 Prior art depth

  • Slide 11, eight clusters, one device: Navy co-deposition, ultrasound and cavitation, electrochemical excess-heat programs, heated hydrides under gas loading, electron screening, pyroelectric fusion, the sub-keV yield plateau, and fracture records; every record compiled neutrally with authors, venue, year and DOI where one exists (prior-art/INDEX.md).
  • Slide 12, the design lessons we carry: loading thresholds and resistance-ratio monitoring (prior-art/03), calorimetry discipline codified by the 2019 Google-funded program (prior-art/03), gas-loading powder-reactor hardware (prior-art/04), burst-locked detector conditions (prior-art/02, prior-art/08), the screening host table (prior-art/05).
  • Slide 13, the bibliography: over one hundred traced references in sources/REFERENCES.md, each tagged to the cluster file that cites it.

6 Device design

  • Slide 14, the composition matrix: four hydrides (PdD reference, TiD2 and ZrD2 volume platforms at about twice the deuteron density per metal atom of palladium at roughly one fiftieth of the price, NiH control) crossed with four piezoelectric compositions (PZT-5H and BaTiO3 active arms; ZnO and LiNbO3, two orders of magnitude lower in d33, as like-for-like comparison compositions) (materials/SPECS.md).
  • Slide 15, the two carrier families: suspension cells in deuterated oil or glycerol and dry-bed cells with sampling headspace, both fitting the same ports, sensors and calorimetry (lab/LAB-BUILD.md).
  • Slide 16, the excitation stack: ultrasound bursts, impact, external electric field, pulsed discharge and programmed heating as layers of one drive schedule on one vessel geometry (SCIENCE-AND-FOUNDATIONS.md section 3).
  • Slide 17, twelve design parameters, one lock: the simulation queue narrows hydride, carrier, piezoelectric fraction, particle size, drive frequency, power ceiling, duty cycle, loading ramp and detector exposures to a month-11 parameter brief version 1.0 (simulation/MARBELL-SIMULATION-QUEUE.md).

7 Simulation program

  • Slide 18, a 24x7 agent-operated queue: sixteen agent-plus-simulation slots per Marbell bare-metal server at CHF 1500 per server-month, CHF 93.75 per slot-month; each slot runs one autonomous agent rotating through four personas (literature triage, job generation, run supervision, result ingestion) (simulation/MARBELL-SIMULATION-QUEUE.md).
  • Slide 19, the toolchain: open-source density functional theory, molecular dynamics, phase field, finite elements and custom screening kernels, every tool validated against physical anchors before production use (simulation/TOOLCHAIN.md).
  • Slide 20, scale options: four servers at CHF 6000 per month (CHF 72,000 over 12 months) runs foundations; eight servers (CHF 12,000 per month, CHF 144,000) is the standard plan; sixteen servers (CHF 24,000 per month, CHF 288,000) adds replicate ensembles, frequency sweeps and live assimilation of lab data (simulation/MARBELL-SIMULATION-QUEUE.md, all throughput figures estimates).

8 Lab plan

  • Slide 21, calorimetry first: an isoperibolic Seebeck-envelope calorimeter and a Coriolis flow calorimeter run continuously on every cell, Joule-calibrated weekly; no same-week calibration, no reportable run (lab/LAB-BUILD.md).
  • Slide 22, the artifact-resistant pair: neutron time of flight across a 2.0 m liquid-scintillator baseline plus CR-39 track foils inside the cell; two independent detector classes that must agree, immune by construction to the electromagnetic and optical artifact classes in this field's history (lab/LAB-BUILD.md, prior-art/01).
  • Slide 23, the fit-out: four-cell test matrix, gas room with flare line and interlocks, blind acquisition windows during pulsed discharge, five-sigma pre-registered thresholds on four independent readouts (lab/LAB-BUILD.md).
  • Slide 24, capital: equipment grand total USD 601,527 including ten percent contingency, all line items planning estimates against vendor quotes (lab/LAB-BOM.md); first consumables and core excitation campaign roughly USD 36,000 to 64,000 (estimate, materials/SUPPLIERS-AND-PRICES.md).

9 The 12-month plan

  • Slide 25, shape of the year: months 1 to 3 foundations (density functional theory, kernels, horn models, long-lead procurement); months 4 to 6 composition matrix and carrier decision; months 7 to 9 full-cell commissioning and as-built models; months 10 to 12 signal-class predictions, design lock, first device campaign (simulation/MARBELL-SIMULATION-QUEUE.md campaign table; build order in PLAN-12-MONTH.md).
  • Slide 26, decision cadence: the coordinator agent re-plans weekly from the results database; each campaign narrows named lab parameters with a named decision owner (simulation/MARBELL-SIMULATION-QUEUE.md section 7).

11 Commercial path

  • Slide 29, from bench to wall plug: the record shows the measurement chain the market will demand, from isoperibolic cells to independent-tester flow calorimetry to total wall-plug accounting (prior-art/03, Brillouin line 2014 to 2025); we build that chain into the device from day one.
  • Slide 30, the replication playbook: the six-organization collaborative campaign with identical samples split across laboratories (prior-art/04) is our template for third-party validation of any positive result.
  • Slide 31, the cost curve: nickel and copper binary nano-composites operating near 350 C on hydrogen put the cheap end of the composition space at commodity prices (prior-art/04, estimate), with palladium-deuterium as the mobility-matched reference.
  • Slide 32, the position: the hydride plus piezoelectric combination is untested in the public record (concept brief, searches of 2026-10-21); a working device, or a carefully bounded negative with the platform and diagnostics proven, is publishable, patentable ground either way.
  • Slide 33, the ask: fund the 12-month program at the chosen simulation scale (CHF 72,000 to 288,000, estimates), the laboratory build (USD 601,527, estimate) and the materials campaign (USD 36,000 to 64,000, estimate), against the milestones in PLAN-12-MONTH.md.

12 Close

  • Slide 34, close: the components are published, the platform is demonstrated, the combination is open, and the instrument to decide it is now a 12-month engineering program. Vantasner AG builds it.
